Leslie Primo
Leslie Primo has a degree in Art History and an MA in Renaissance Studies from Birkbeck, University of London. He has taught a variety of art history courses at University of Reading and City Lit. He has been based at the National Gallery in London for the past 10 years, lecturing there as well as at the National Portrait Gallery, the National Maritime Museum and the Courtauld Institute.

Combining appreciation with the history of the principal movements, this course will explore the differences between Medieval and Renaissance art, and between Baroque and Neo- Classicism. Over five classes and a visit to the National Gallery, you will look at a selection of masterpieces by Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Jan van Eyck and Jan Vermeer among others.
