Description: Bo'ness Motor Museum is concerned with famous and classic cars, particularly models that feature in TV series; the collection includes approximately 25 cars and a wide range of posters, signs, memorabilia, toys, props, and items used in film and TV production.
Summary of main points in interview: Colin Anderson founded and runs the museum, along with his family and members of car clubs who meet at the museum regularly and help with events. Achieving charitable status for the Museum in 2013, Anderson rents the building and loans his private collection to the charity, augmented by cars loaned by other classic car collectors. He discusses his background, the visitor profile and how the museum has survived. He discusses his collecting, starting with film posters and cinema memorabilia, and his interest in "The Saint" and James Bond films. High points have included was hosting James Bond events attended by Bond stars.
