Administrative/Biographical History

Luca Federici is an international body artist based in London. He is currently studying as a PhD student at Central Saint Martins. His practice-based research project is about performance art infused BDSM, questioning the extent to which BDSM practices, if performed in a public space, can become a method to deal with social power that acts on the body.

Luca Federici has performed in art events, such as FUCK/LIVE/ART (London, UK, curated by Franko B), Emergency +18 (Manchester), PervArt (London), Exhausting the Body (Berlin, curated by Louis Fleischauer), and fetish clubs like Wasteland (Amsterdam) and Torture Garden (London).
