Archer, Rodney (1927-2015) artist, writer and teacher
Administrative/biographical history
Rodney Archer was an actor, writer and teacher, well known in the Spitalfields community where he lived. Archer collected theatre programmes and souvenir programme booklets from various theatres for plays, dance and opera productions. The programmes are predominantly for performances Archer attended between 1953 (his 26th birthday) and his death in 2015.
Scope and content
Theatre programmes owned by actor, writer and teacher Rodney Archer. Plays, dance and opera productions, primarily London - West End and Fringe theatres - but also Broadway and the Greater London area. Programmes date from 1953 to 2015, with one or two vintage programmes he collected [1927-2015]. Including:
