Bishopsgate Institute is a unique backdrop for a range of artistic performances. For over 130 years our Grade II* listed building has been an atmospheric and proudly inclusive venue.

We have two spaces available for promoter hire. Our spacious Great Hall - capable of holding up to 400 guests, complete with a large stage and a range of technical and lighting facilities - is ideal for concerts, larger talks and cabaret shows.

For more intimate events such as book launches or salon-style music events, the spectacular glass roof and wooden panelling of our Library is a perfect choice.

We are a secular and independent charity. Our building cannot be used to host rallies, party political or religious events. We also don’t hire our building for public classes and courses run by external parties.
