Jacky’s Jukebox has provided music for the LGBTQI+ Community & their friends for over 25 years and Jacky was awarded a British Empire Medal for her services to same-sex ballroom dancing in 2020.

This iconic night offers a mixture of Ballroom & Latin music, Sequence, Argentine Tango, Salsa & Swing, plus a range of line dances developed in the dance halls over the last 5 decades. With great music, warmth and friendliness, there is something for everyone!

This is a social dance event.

Practical information
  • Tickets are £12 in advance and £12 on the door.
  • Online ticket sales will close two hours prior to the event starting. We encourage booking in advance, as tickets on the door will be limited.
  • We run a card-only bar and also provide free drinking water, so bring your reusable bottle and help yourself. Please don't bring your own food and drink into the event.
  • Our events and courses are designed for over-18s only. We do not allow under-18s to attend our social dance events as our evening events are aimed at an adult audience, with a licensed bar in operation.

Jacky Logan

Jacky has been a DJ for Ballroom and Latin dancing since 1995. She has been campaigning for equality for dancers who want to dance with same gender partners, or swap around the leading and following for 30 years, and was awarded a British Empire Medal in 2020 for services to Same-sex Ballroom Dancing. She has DJ’d regularly at venues such as the Festival Hall, Rivoli Ballroom and many dance studio events and tea dances. She is also a ‘Fitsteps’ instructor. She is passionate about mixing music from 1920s to present day and welcoming new people to the dance floor.
